Robo Instructus is an algorithm puzzle game by Big AB Games.

Quick anim preview. I animated the robot in Maya LT. I ran into some trouble getting it all rendered out to sprites because Maya LT doesn't ship with a rendering engine. I ended up using a less than ideal Keyshot and Photoshop (for tweaks) pipeline.
Part of the map scene. The game takes place on a harsh and frozen planet, deep down under a ransacked spaceship.

The last stage of the game is certainly heats things up. Now you'll have to manage a little probe in addition to your robot.
